Just after the SUP world cup’s race in Hamburg I really wanted to focus on my training for the Battle of the Paddle, but this year the Spanish Longboard and SUP surfing Championship was held in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the Island just next to Fuerteventura (where I live).
So I decided to take a break off my racing training and go to compete in the 2010 Spanish SUP surfing Championship.

I ended up 2nd, which is not as good as first, but better than 3rd, and best thing is it gives me plenty of motivation to improve my SUP surfing (as soon as the racing season ends !)

Winter is coming soon and there’ll be plenty of awesome SUPsurfing sessions, but now it’s time to do the last racing trainings before the BOP !
