Surfing !

Travelling around the world for racing is fun and awesome. But I NEED some surfing sometimes. It feels good.
At the end of the day I cannot complain as I always get some.
This season the longest time I have been with no surfing at all has been 5 weeks (end of June and July) and this is because I spent almost a month on the North Shore of Maui doing only downwinds. Not exactly surfing but very close to it !
Most of the time I always find a way to get a few waves in my free time. Even when I was in Germany last spring I have managed to suf.. A river wave !

So yeah, I sometimes miss good surfing sessions but I cannot have it all. Also, since I have added OC paddling in my water time I have less time to surf.
But I LOVE paddling. It is good to get a little bit from both worlds, and by the way, this is why I like so much Stand Up Paddling.

Here is a picture from last week in France, water and weather were still warm and the swell was up.

I am now back home in Fuerteventura and the winter swells are already here. I have some new toys with me, a longboard Bic 9’4 Nat Young and a surf Bic 7’6.
I already have had great sessions on them I will try to post some pics soon.
